The joint proprietors of The Evangelical College of Theology are the Baptist convention of Sierra Leone (BCSL), the Countess of Huntingdon’s Connexion (CHC), the United Brethren in Christ (UBC) and the Wesleyan Church of Sierra Leone (WCSL).
The Evangelical College of Theology operates under the guidelines of a constitution and is directed by the Board of Governors made up of representatives of the joint proprietors and members at large selected from the Christian community and representatives from the Evangelical Fellowship of Sierra Leone, the University of Sierra Leone and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
Those denominations, which identify with the doctrinal basis and purposes of the college, may become joint proprietors with representations on the Board of Governors. Inquiries should be directed to the Principal of the college or the Chairman of the Board of Governors. It should be noted that applicants from any denomination who meet the academic and non-academic requirements of the college might be accepted. Well over twenty denominations or groups in and beyond Sierra Leone have been sponsoring students at TECT. TECT is associated with the Evangelical Fellowship of Sierra Leone and the West African Association of Theological Institutions. |
